Omani on 1,400: 105 + 7 = 112 is deducted and net pay is OMR 1,288; the employer pays 203.
Omani on 14,000: the pension applies to 3,000 only (225) and job security to the full wage (70), so 295 is deducted and net pay is 13,705.
Expat on 1,400: nothing is deducted; the employer pays 28.

Insurable pay is the gross wage with all allowances, and pension contributions are calculated daily. The Ministry of Finance may subsidise the insured person's share, but we found no decision in force. GCC nationals working in Oman contribute at their home country's rates through the insurance protection extension scheme.

For your pension use the Oman pension calculator, and for job security the job security allowance calculator.
