Example: Total wage KWD 6,000, so the hourly wage is 6,000 ÷ 26 ÷ 8 = KWD 28.846. Ten overtime hours: 10 × 28.846 × 1.25 = 360.577; four rest-day hours: 4 × 28.846 × 1.5 = 173.077. Total KWD 533.654 plus a substitute rest day.

The 26-day divisor comes from practice and Article 67, which works out the daily wage from actual working days; some employers divide by 30, so pick the alternative to see the difference.
